Writing

I have 15 years’ experience writing for magazines, newspapers, websites, and brands. Whether reporting news, producing features, or translating brand messaging into meaningful content, I’ve earned a reputation for working efficiently, respecting deadlines, and always filing clean, concise, and compelling copy.

Journalism

I’ve written stories on all kinds of topics, from high school ballers to disability support groups to teaching kids how to use power tools, for Popular Mechanics, GQ, San Francisco Examiner, Lifehacker.com, MLSsoccer.com, Charleston Post and Courier (S.C.), Greenwich Post (Conn.), East Bay Express (Calif.), Monocle, and Examiner.com.

This is just a selection of my work. To see it all, please visit here.

Copywriting

Good copywriting gets clicks; I write copy that also inspires and educates. For my clients, which have included Clif Bar, Blue Apron, Maisonette, and OCUS, I’ve produced marketing content such as promotional and web copy, white papers, blog and social media posts, newsletters, and ghostwriting; corporate communications such as newsletters, emails, internal memos, presentation decks, and speeches; and technical writing such as user manuals. See some examples below.
